well that last entry was pessimistic.
on to bigger and better things,
in the confinement of smaller and crowded rooms.
claustrophobia never looked better.
one third of the way through.
these things have gone surprisingly well.
to the followers from the beginning: thank you.
to the leaders who have shared my music: thank you.
to everything in between (both good and bad): thanks.
rebuilding requires a strong foundation.
the rubble is still getting cleared, however this looks promising.
i look promising. you look promising.
maybe you do, too.
my plate always seems too full.
perhaps i will find solace in photography.
or, just maybe, in a chocolate chip cookie.
...let's not get ahead of ourselves.

i don't know who i am anymore.
i don't know where i belong.
i'm sick of everything.
i'm sick of being sick.
i'm tired of being a season.
i'm tired.
two battles lost.
things happen in threes.
tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick...
i'm sick of everything.
i'm sick of being sick.
i'm tired of being a season.
i'm tired.
two battles lost.
things happen in threes.
tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick...

you strike me with every colour and every nerve.
i woke up this morning.
red with hunger,
crimson with memories.
the hue burned my stomach until the only nutrient left was you.
the day progressed in orange.
caution waves throughout the pangs.
the flames crowded into a circle,
licking my skin all over to the first degree.
my bones were exposed,
but the warmth that followed extinguished the disaster.
in the end,
oranges were peeled with calloused thumbs
and it was easier to digest the future.
i feel green whenever i lay familiarity into sheets.
i swim through your iris,
because if you're all i see, i wish to be mutual.
an eye for an eye and a dream for a dream,
a morning to mourn the temporary displacement of my heart.
i belong in your eyes.
to be loved and to be scrutinized.
